52 : Introduction to Array

Introducing Array



int [] ArrayName  = new int [10] - here 10 means I want 10 times.


 You can use this 

int [] Number;

Number = new int [5];


or


int [] Number = new int [5];




To print the result you can write like this:


int [] number = new int [5];

number [0] = 10;

number [1] = 10;

number [2] = 10;

number [3] = 10;

number [4] = 10;

System.out.println(number[0]);


Then run it.





if you want you can add more Array, like this :


int [] number = new int [5];

int [] number2 = new int [10];


To know Array size or how many Array is there, you can write :

number [0] = 10;

number [1] = 10;

number [2] = 10;

number [3] = 10;

number [4] = 10;


int len = number.length; // Array size

System.out.println("Array size = "+ len);


result will be:


Array size = 5





To get the sum:


int sum = number [0] + number [1] + number [2] + number [3] + number [4];

System.out.println ("Array Sum =" +sum);
